How To use it as.....
MacOS
7.x: Use Decor. Get it here.
(You can have it change pictures randomly at different intervals!)
MacOS 8.x: While in the Finder, hold down the Control key and click
on the desktop and select "Change Desktop Background." Also, if you have
several images in a folder, drop the folder on the Desktop Pictures control
panel and a random picture will be chosen at each startup!
Windows 3.1: Try ACDsee.
You can convert a JPEG to wallpaper within the program.
(Thanks Justin!)
Windows95/98/NT : Right-click on the desktop, select "properties"
and you will be presented with the "Display Properties" panel. Select
"background" and choose the image... (Thanks boy racer!)
This works only if it is a BMP file already, otherwise use ACDsee above.
You can also try right-clicking on the image and see if the option to
"Set as Wallpaper" is available.
